1. Candidate’s name, maiden name, gender, and date of birth.
2. Access information such as candidates’ phone number, email, location and name of the institution.
3. Information related to verification of the candidate such as educational certificates, government-issued id card numbers etc.
4. Information about the candidate’s device which he/she uses to access our website such as the login and IP information.
5. Information related to account creation on the website such as username and password 6. Information related to purchases and transactions such as debit or credit card numbers. This information is obtained when the candidate purchases or books a service with HeyMandarin.
PURPOSE OF OBTAINING THIS INFORMATION:
Though kept strictly confidential, the basic purpose of obtaining this information is to: Keep the record of the students in our database Update the students about our services or any promotions when available Sharing uploaded information by the students such as educational certificates, resumes etc with other parents through student’s profile pages. To promote our services by marketing only some aspects of candidate’s profiles on our website’s home page.
DO WE SHARE STUDENTS’ INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTY?
The confidentiality of the information obtained from our students is of utmost importance to us hence we make sure that no information is shared with any third party. All the obtained data from students is kept confidential.
PROTECTION OF STUDENT’S PERSONAL INFORMATION:
All the information once received from the students is stored in secured servers. It is advised to all the students not to share their personal account login details with anyone to protect the information from unauthorized access.
In case a candidate’s account remains inactive for quite a long period of time then we send reminders to them to use their account. If the account still remains inactive after several reminders then finally the account is terminated. Candidates’ personal information remains stored in the servers as long as their accounts remain active.
RECORDING OF VIDEO CHAT STREAMING:
Since at HeyMandarin the nature of the service is such that all the lectures and webinars along with 1 on 1 session are conducted through video chat streaming hence it is possible that we might record a few segments of the sessions for marketing or official use purposes. It will be made sure that all the candidates are informed prior to the recording.
Cookies are used for the collection of statistical information of the student. The candidates when visiting the website have an option to block cookies if they are not willing to share their information with the website. However, as stated before this may prevent them from using some services of the website.
